posted on april 10, 2014 नेपालमा लगानी गरेका र त्यसका लागि तयारी अवस्थामा रहेको विदेशीको संख्या ४ हजार नाघेको छ । उद्योग विभागका अनुसार गत माघ मसान्तसम्म ४ हजार १ सय २९ जना विदेशीले नेपालमा लगानीको प्रतिबद्धता जनाइसकेका छन् । 'उनीहरूको प्रतिबद्धता हो । सबैले अनिवार्य रूपमा उद्योग खोलेकै छन् भन्ने हैन,' विभागका महानिर्देशक ध्रुवलाल राजवंशीले भने, 'लगानी गरी उत्पादन वा सञ्चालनमा आउन निकै समय लाग्ने अयोजनाहरू पनि छन् । त्यसैले लगानी नगरे पनि उनीहरू नेपालमा भिसा लिएर बसिरहेका छन् ।'

posted on october 25, 2013 काठमाडौं - बजारमा किनबेचको चहलपहल नदेखिए पनि मुलुकभर घरजग्गा कारोबारबाट उठने राजस्व भने बढेको छ । गत आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो दुई महिना (साउन र भदौ) मा देशभरिबाट ८० करोड ९२ लाख रुपैयाँ राजस्व संकलन भएकामा यो वर्ष ९४ करोड ७० लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ । यो प्रतिमहिना करिब ७ करोड रुपैयाँले बढी हो । सरकारले चालु आवमा घरजग्गा किनबेचबाट साढे ४ अर्ब रुपैयाँ राजस्व उठाउने लक्ष्य राखेको छ । दुई महिनामा करिब एक अर्ब रुपैयाँ राजस्व संकलन भएकाले सरकारको लक्ष्य सजिलै पुग्ने देखिएको छ । 'गत आर्थिक वर्षमा लक्ष्यभन्दा १८ प्रतिशत बढी राजस्व उठेको थियो,' भूमि सुधार तथा व्यवस्थापन विभागका तथ्यांक अधिकृत राजु बस्नेतले सोमबार नागरिकसँग भने, 'सुरुको अवस्था हेर्दा यो वर्ष पनि पुग्ने देखिन्छ ।' उनका अनुसार गत वर्ष करिब साढे पाँच अर्ब रुपैयाँ राजस्व उठेको थियो ।

posted on august 2, 2013 KATHMANDU: The real estate market, that remained moribund for the last three years, is gradually creeping back to life, but transactions are yet to reach the peak of 2008-09. In the last fiscal year ended July 15, various land revenue offices in the country collected Rs 5.36 billion in registration fees, up from Rs 4.80 billion recorded in the previous fiscal year. Although last fiscal’s registration fee collection — one of the most reliable indicators to gauge real estate transactions — marks a hike of 11.67 per cent, the amount is still way below Rs 6.31 billion registered in 2008-09, when the property market was at its peak.
